March 20, 2025 — Electric boating journalist Jeff Butler recently featured the Aurora e30 on PlugBoats, spotlighting how E-Force Marine was born from our CEO and Founder, Al Haghayegh’s vision. During the pandemic, Al retrofitted his family’s 1988 Tiara and discovered that electric propulsion met 90% of their boating needs—without the noise, fumes, or high fuel costs of gas engines.
As a lifelong boater and electrical engineer, Al showed how an electric boat can support family outings, from sandbars to sunset cruises, while cutting operating costs and maintenance dramatically.
By replacing twin gas inboards with dual 120 kW electric motors and a 196 kWh battery, the Aurora maintains its original weight and balance, delivering smooth handling and a quiet ride. On a 40-minute cruise, it used just 25% of its battery.
The Aurora proves electric boating isn’t about compromise—it’s about enhancing the experience. No gas stops, no engine noise—just quiet, clean power on the water.
February 14, 2025 — We’re proud to see the Aurora e30 featured by two respected UK-based marine industry outlets: Marine Industry News and Marine Business.
Marine Industry News is an independent online trade publication and daily newsletter covering the latest in leisure marine, superyacht, and commercial marine sectors. Marine Businessalso highlighted our progress as part of their reporting on innovation and product development in the UK marine market.
Both publications highlighted the Aurora e30’s development timeline, with prototype construction beginning in September 2025, sea trials in November, and production targeted for January 2026. Designed for clean, quiet, and efficient cruising, the 30-foot electric catamaran will offer an 80-mile range (190 miles with a hybrid option), fast two-hour charging, and a solar canopy.
We’re honored to be recognized by leading marine media as we continue shaping the future of electric boating.
February 12, 2025 — E-Force Marine gave attendees a first look at its in-progress electric catamaran, the Aurora e30, during the 2025 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show.
Displayed at the Electric Pavilion (Booth MB3202), the concept reflects E-Force’s vision for a 30-foot, zero-emission vessel powered by a proprietary E-Drive system. While still in development, the Aurora e30 is projected to reach 35 mph with a range of up to 80 miles per charge. “We’re excited to share our progress and gather feedback,” said the E-Force team.
